Marbella Car Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Marbella Car handles personal data in the Marbella Car iOS app for reservation, payment, customer support, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

1. Data We Collect
- Account data: sign-in provider details from Apple or Google, and account email.
- Booking data: pickup/drop-off details, dates, selected car, extras, booking reference, and pricing.
- Contact data: first name, last name, email, phone country code, and phone number used for reservation communication.
- Payment data: payment status and transaction identifiers from Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
- Technical/operational data: security and abuse-prevention logs necessary to run and protect the service.

2. How We Use Data
- To create and manage bookings.
- To process payments and payment confirmations.
- To contact you about your reservation.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.

3. Payment Processing (Stripe)
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect and process payment information under its own privacy policy and terms. Marbella Car stores only payment metadata needed for booking and reconciliation.

4. Account Deletion
You can request deletion directly in the app: Account -> Account information -> Delete account.
When you delete your account:
- Your authentication account is deleted.
- Personal account data is removed from active app use.
- Existing booking records are anonymized where retention is required for legal, operational, or accounting purposes.

5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for reservation services and legal obligations. Where full deletion is not legally permitted, data is minimized and anonymized whenever possible.

6. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app (for example, payment processing and backend infrastructure), or when required by law.

7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data.
